Sabian Hasani

Sabian Hasani holds a Master of Science in Archaeology from the University of Tirana and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Archaeology and Biology from the University of Michigan. With over 13 years of experience in the field of archaeology, Sabian has worked extensively across Albania, Italy, and the United States, contributing to a variety of academic and commercial archaeological projects.
Professional experience includes seven seasons of academic archaeological excavations in Rome, Italy, as well as involvement in some of Albania’s largest commercial efforts, including work with TAP, Shell, and Devoll Hydropower, among other academic and commercial projects. Sabian has also spearheaded several digital archaeology initiatives, focusing on digital mapping, 3D modeling, and sharing information about cultural heritage sites. Supported by the Ministry of Culture in Albania, these projects underscore a commitment to documenting and protecting cultural heritage through innovative digital methods.
Combining a unique blend of skills as both an archaeologist and photographer, Sabian skillfully captures the beauty of nature and archaeological landscapes. This passion for visual storytelling complements a broader dedication to preserving and promoting world heritage.
In addition to archaeological work, Sabian has worked as Media and Marketing Director for a US-based medical not-for-profit organization operating across multiple countries, demonstrating leadership and gaining valuable expertise in strategic communication and outreach.
