Borana Kalemi

Borana Kalemi holds a Master’s degree in Development Policy from Korean Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management. She also has graduated in law and holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from Marin Barleti University and a Diploma from Riga Graduate School of Law. Her field of expertise is around strategy and policy development, private sector development, trade, intellectual property. She has a long experience working in the public sector engaged in drafting policies for private sector development and trade facilitation. Additionally, she has contributed to the process of EU integration for chapters covering internal market and external relations. For four years she worked as manager of a Swiss funded project on intellectual property in Albania. She gained a vast experience in the field of implementation of the project working closely with the IP stakeholders in Albania and in the region. She has attended various trainings from World Trade Organization, World Intellectual Property Organization, Swedish Development Agency, UNCTAD, Joint Vienna Institute etc.
