Megi Përduka

Megi Përduka completed her Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Birmingham (UK) and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Medical Imaging at the University of Medicine in Tirana.

In her professional career, Megi has worked in the field of social research and public policy analysis. She has several years of experience in public opinion research and analysis on governance, economics, social issues, the environment, and more. She has contributed as a coordinator or research lead in numerous national public opinion surveys conducted for public institutions and international organizations, including the EU, WHO, OECD, UNIDO, UNEP, World Wildlife Fund, and others. Megi has also participated in or co-authored several statistical studies in the fields of public health and population studies, including a systematic analysis of the impact of physical activity on mental health in the primary healthcare system in England and an analysis of migration trends in the Western Balkans. A special contribution of Megi’s has been the centralization of all scientific publications in the fields of public health and demography in Albania into a central database.
